Foundation Chain With Colour A ch164 (161 ch and 3 turning chain. R 1 - In 4th ch from hook, 2dc, ch2, 3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch1. \* Skip next 3 ch. 3 dc in next ch, ch1 \*. Rep \* to \* 38 times. Skip next 3 ch and in last ch work 3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch1. Now you will be working along other side of foundation ch. \* Skip next 3 ch. 3 dc in next ch, ch1 \*. Rep \* to \* 38 times. Join with sl st to 3rd ch of initial dc. End Colour A. R 2 - Join Colour B in same place and sl st in each of first 2 sts to ch2sp. Ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), 2 dc, ch2, 3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch1 in same ch2sp - corner made. In next ch2sp work 3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch1. \* In next ch1sp work 3dc, ch1 \*. Rep \* to \* across to next corner ch2sp. In next and following corner ch2sp work 3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch2, 3dc, ch1. Rep \* to \* across to start of round and join by sl st to initial dc. End Colour B. R 3 -21 Repeat instructions for R 2, changing colour every round or every couple of rounds.
Joining:
When you have completed both rectangles, join together lengthwise by sewing or crochet join.
Edging:
Work 2 or 3 rounds around the entire throw.
