Round 1. ch 2, in 2nd ch from hook work 4 sc. Round 2. Work 2 sc in each st [8 sts] 2 sc in each of the next 3 sts, then work 1 sc in each of the next 5 sts [11 sts Sl st in the next st and fasten off, leaving a long strand of yarn to sew to face. The 3 increases on Round 3 are the bottom of the muzzle. It is easiest to embroider the mouth and nose on before you sew it to the head. Use red or black yarn/embroidery thread to add a mouth. Use black to add a nose— just a few simple stitches! When you sew the muzzle to the head, insert a very small amount of stuffing. After you sew the muzzle to the head, you can again use black yarn or embroidery thread to add some simple eyes—-and eyebrows too if you like. You might find it easier to add the eyes after the ears are on, to get them in the right spot on the face.
