Yarn Color A (Red Heart with Love in Blue Hawaii) Yarn Color B (Red Heart Super Saver Solids in Coral) Yarn Color C (Red Heart Super Saver Solids in Baby Pink) Small amount of pink yarn for eyes Small amount of black yarn for eyes Small amount of white yarn for eyes 3.25mm crochet hook (Size D) Fiberfill Stuffing Yarn Needle Sewing Pins to hold pieces in place before sewing (optional) Stitch Markers

Ch - chain Sl - slip stitch Sc - single crochet St - stitch Sts - stitches Rpt - repeat Inc - increase, 2 sc in the same space Dec - decrease or sc2tog (single crochet 2 together) Sc 3 together Note : All pieces are made in a continuous spiral unless otherwise stated. Most pieces begin with a magic ring, but you can also use a ch 2 to start.
Head /Body
·Using Yarn Color A Rnd 1 Using a magic ring, place 6 sc into the magic ring (6 sc) Rnd 2 inc around (12 sc) Rnd 3 \~ sc in the next st, inc / rpt around (18 sc) Rnd 4 sc in the next 2 sts, inc / rpt around (24 sc) Rnd 5 \~ sc in the next 3 sts, inc / rpt around (30 sc) Rnds 6-13 \~ sc around (30 sc) Rnd 14 sc in the next 3 sts, dec / rpt around (24 sc) Rnd 15 \~ sc in the next 2 sts, dec / rpt around (18 sc) Rnd 16 \~ sl around (18 sl) · Stuff head. Rnd 17 \~ sc in the next 2 sts, inc / rpt around (24 sc) Rnd 18 \~ sc in the next 3 sts, inc / rpt around (30 sc) Rnds 19-23 \~ sc around (30 sc) Rnd 24 \~ sc in the next 4 sts, inc / rpt around (36 sc) Rnds 25-28 \~ sc around (36 sc) Rnd 29 \~ sc in the next 4 sts, dec / rpt around (30 sc) Rnds 30-31 \~ sc around (30 sc) Rnd 32 \~ sc in the next 3 sts, dec / rpt around (24 sc) Rnd 33 \~ sc in the next 2 sts, dec / rpt around (18 sc) · Stuff body, add more stuffing as needed. Rnd 34 \~ sc in the next st, dec / rpt around (12 sc) Rnd 35 \~ dec around (6 sc) · Fasten off leaving a tail. · Using your yarn needle sew the remaining hole closed.
Eyes (make 2)
·Starting with Black Yarn ·Keep all the tails from coloring changing on one side of the eye. (as pictured below) Rnd 1 \~ Using a magic ring, place 5 sc into the magic ring (5 sc) · Change to Pink Yarn (or desired eye color) Rnd 2 \~ inc around (10 sc) ·Change to White Yarn Rnd 3 \~ sc in the next st, inc / rpt around (15 sc) · Sl in the next st to join. · Fasten off leaving a long tail. Cut off loose ends from color changes. Using your yarn needle sew the eyes onto your baby owl.
Belly
With Yarn Color C Rnd 1 Using a magic ring, place 6 sc into the magic ring (6 sc) Rnd 2 \~ inc around (12 sc) Rnd 3 \~ inc 3 times, sc 3 times / rpt (18 sc) Rnd 4 \~ sc in the next 2 sts, inc / rpt around (24 sc) Rnd 5 \~ sc in the next 3 sts, inc / rpt around (30 sc) Rnd 6 \~ incomplete round, sc in the next 6 sts, sl. ? Fasten off leaving a long tail. Using your yarn needle sew the belly onto the body.
Beak
With Yarn Color B Row 1 ch 2, 3 sc in the 1st ch made. (3 sc) ch 1, turn. Row 2 \~ sc, inc, sc (4 sc) ch 1, turn. Row 3 \~ sc, dec, sc (3 sc) ch 1, turn. Row 4 \~ sc 3 together (1 sc) · Fasten off leaving a long tail. · Row 1 is the top of the beak. Using your yarn needle sew the beak right between the eyes.
Ears (make 2)
WithYarn Color A No not stuff Rnd 1 \~ Using a magic ring, place 5 sc into the magic ring (5 sc) Rnd 2 \~ sc around (5 sc) Rnd 3 \~ sc, inc / 2 times, sc in the last st (7 sc) Rnd 4 \~ sc in the next 6 sts, inc in the last st (8 sc) Rnd 5 \~ ch 1, fold in half and sc through both sides at the same time (4 sc) ·Fasten off leaving a long tail. · Using your yarn needle sew the ears onto the owl's head.
Wings (make 2)
With Yarn Color A Do not stuff Rnd 1 \~ Using a magic ring, place 6 sc into the magic ring (6 sc) Rnd 2 \~ inc around (12 sc) Rnds 3-11 \~ sc around (12 sc) Rnd 12 ch 1, fold in half and sc through both sides at the same time (6 sc) ·Fasten off leaving a long tail. Using your yarn needle sew each arm onto your owl, right under the head.
Feet (make 2)
With Yarn Color B Do not stuff Rnd 1 \~ Using a magic ring, place 7 sc into the magic ring (7 sc) Rnd 2 \~ inc around (14 sc) Rnds 3-5 \~ sc around (14 sc) Rnd 6 \~ sc in the next 5, dec / rpt (12 sc) Rnd 7 \~ sc around (12 sc) Rnd 8 \~ ch 1, fold in half and sc through both sides at the same time (6 sc) ·Fasten off leaving a long tail. Using your yarn needle sew the feet onto the bottom of the owl's body.
