OZ BATH BUDDIES
Two different options to make with an unusual material and just two colors!! Nylon Craft Ribbon is a good material to use in the shower because it dries quickly, but jute or other natural fiber, or even a polyester yarn are good options to create these cute buddies for the bath time:
ECHIDNA

Or stuff it with filling material and use it as a toy everywhere else!!

SPECIALSTITCHESandNOTES
There are several ways to make the Loop stitch. If you find these instructions difficult to understand, you can find some tutorials on the web that may help. 1. Use your index finger to give the loop length required. Insert hook in next stitch and pass it under the right side of the loop, take the hook over the same part of the loop, and grab the left side of the loop. 2. Draw both threads of the loop through the stitch (you have now 3 loops on hook). 3. Release the created loop, yarn over, and draw yarn trough the 3 loops on your hook. -Repeat these three steps to make the number of loops required.--

Body
Turn the head inside out to make the spikes (the loops will be hidden until you turn the work to the wright side, Fig. 2). Make this part closing each round with a slst, and starting the next round with a chain. Join the Brown Ribbon to the last stitch of the head... 1: 3dc, 16 loop sts of approx. 3.5cm long (see Special Stitches and Notes), 6dc. (25sts)
