Helpful Tips:
Read through pattern instructions before beginning.
Crocheting in the round - this is achieved by increasing stitches in each round. O Typically, the icreasing begins with round 3.This starts with an increase inveryother stitch (i sc inext sc, 2scin next sc.\*et around.)For round 4, there wil two sc stitches between the increases and round 5 has three sc sts between the 2 sc in next sc increases. And so on. To ensure a round fomation (and to avoid a hump or peak forming), do not make a 2sc in a st that is on top of a 2sc st in the previous round. To make a color change-pulthenewcolorthroughinstead of te oldcolorwhen comleting the st.Place the tilof the oldcolorbehind your work to crochet over it when making the next couple of stitches with the new color. This willsave you time later when weaving in your ends. The 'ch' at the beginning of the round or row is not considered the firt st but is used as a filer or starter to make the first st. It's alwasgodideaafteverycoleof rows togivealite stretch and pull tyour prjet. This willgiv youamorerealisticvwofwhat yu have completed up to that point.

Important Tips:
Make the knot as small a it wil go. Bt remember, f you pl to tigt, one of the strip il break. Make sure the 2-strand strips are even. There's nothing more inconvenient when crocheting or knittng with plastic yarn then to have to work With extra plastic on one of the strips. When adding a new strip, on Step #7-grab the previous knot made when puling the new strip with the opposite hand to make the knot. This will help keep the 2-strands even.

Adjustable Ring: Make aloop a if to form a knot giving yourselfaout $4^{\ast}$ $6"$ oftlIhhlrakraat hook back through backto front). You now should have loop on your hook.

Ch 2 as this wil count as your firs hdc. The standard is ch $1{\=}{\sag}\mathrm{c};$ ch 2=hdc; ch $3\equiv d c\rangle$ . Make hdc in the loop making sure to crochet around both the plastic yarn and til. I sugest making thestches a lite loose s it wil be easierto pullthe plan til. f you start runing out of til pullthe til to give you more slack, however, you willnotice that the loop will get smaller. Now for the fun part - grab the tail and gently pull the stitches together. As you do this, the inner circle gets smaller.
