Ceres Celebration Cowl

Ceres Celebration Cowl is a simple slip-stitch cowl that shows off colourful and variegated yarns. Yarn: Pales SW Sport Yarn, in Ceres Variegated. (May substitute any colourful sport or heavy fingering yarn.) Needles: 4mm (UlS 6) 16 inch circular needle. Markers: 1 (one) Gauge: I knit up 20 stitches per four inches. Finished Size: 7inches/1 7cms tall. 9.5inches/24.5 wide Cast on 96 stitches. Join to knit in the round, being careful not to twist stitches when joining. Place marker at beginning of round. Round 1: Purl Round 2: Knit Round 3: Purl Begin 4-row repeat: Row 1: Knit all stitches Row 2: \*Knit 2, Slip 2 wyif (with yarn in front)\*, repeat from Row 3: Knit all stitches Row 4: \*Slip 2 wyif (with yarn in front), Knit 2\*, repeat from \* Repeat 4-row repeat 16 times, or until desired height/ength. Round 4: Purl Round 5: Knit Round 6: Purl Round 7: Cast off/Bind off, loosely. Weave in ends. This cowl is nicely snug. You willikely have a decent bit of yarn left. You can make the cowl taller by adding repeats. This cowl also works nicely as a head wrap/ scarf.
