Using the skills you learned in part 1 and practiced on part 2, complete the next section of the graph, Rows 29-39. If anyone is still having trouble figuring this out please let me know on our facebook group “Cals by BG Designs" Its meant to be a simple very small project, the next couple Cals in this series will build off of the new skills you have learned through this one. This project teaches you mainly to read a chart or graph and some quick symbols. Part 3 Graph - Rows 29 to 39.

Follow the graph as before to row 36.
Row 37:
You will notice that there is a decrease on each side. Start the row by slip stitching your way to the next wall, then begin your boxes. At the end, stop one box early. ...Continue for the next rounds in this way. AT THE END, do not turn.

Round 1:
Working in the spaces formed by your edge sts, 5 sc in each sp to row 36. Then, 3 sc in each sp to row 4 Then, 5 sc in each sp to row 1. Along row 1, do 2 sc in each ch-2 sp. Carry up the same way until you're back at the top left corner. Join with sl st, Finish off and weave in ends.
Tassels (optional):
Wrap your thread around a 4"-5" long object 40 times. Gentle pull off and cut the bottom folds so that only the top is folded. Thread 5 strands through each of the 8 stitches as one end of the bookmark. Using a new piece of thread tie the tassel close to the top to secure it, go around a few times. (you can use your crochet hook to feed your thread from the tie in through the middle of the tie so it blends in with the rest.
