Note
Pictured scarf is six feet long and required $\textrm{I}\,^{1}\!/_{2}$ skeins. Knitting the entire two skeins wil produce a scarf eight feet long. Method Using long tail method, CO 16 sts. Work in Mock Rib stitch pattern for 3 inches. Switch to Burton Stich pattern; cont in pattern to desired length. Switch to Mock Rib stitch pattern and work for 3 inches. BO all sts. Finishing Steam block to shape.
Caring for your scarf
Hand wash in cold water with gentle soap or wool wash. Do not wring or agitate. Squeeze out excess water, then roll in towels to remove remaining water. Lay garment flat to dry out of direct sunlight and shape to original measurements.
