ch - chain st(s) - stitch(es) sc - single crochet hdc - half double crochet dc - double crochet yo - yarn over flo - front loop only blo - back loop only sc2tog - single crochet 2 together Invisible sc2tog - Insert hook into FLO of desired st, don't yo, insert hook into FLO of next st, yo and pull through 2 loops, yo and pull through remaining loops. Bottom Shell Body
With (Purple), Chain 2 Round 1 - 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook (6) attach stitch marker, move with each new Round. Round 2- \*2 sc in each st; repeat from \* around (12) Round 3- \*2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next st; repeat from \* around (18) Round 4- \*2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 2 st; repeat from \* around (24) Round 5- \*2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 3 st; repeat from \* around (30) Round 6- \*2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 4 st; repeat from \* around (36) Round 7- \*2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 5 st; repeat from \* around (42) Round 8- \*2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 6 st; repeat from \* around (48) Fasten off (Purple) and change color to (Yellow) Rounds 9-12- \*1 sc in each st; repeat from \* around (48) Fasten off. Head
With (Yellow), Chain 2 Round 1 - 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook (6) attach stitch marker, move with each new Round Round 2- \*2 sc in each st; repeat from \* around (12) Round 3- \*2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next st; repeat from \* around (18) Round 4- \*2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 2 st; repeat from \* around (24) Round 5- \*2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 3 st; repeat from \* around (30) Round 6-12- \*1 sc in each st; repeat from \* around (36) Round 13- \*sc2tog, 1 sc in next 3 st; repeat from \* around (24) Round 14- \*sc2tog, 1 sc in next 2 st; repeat from \* around (18) Rounds 15-18- \*1 sc in each st; repeat from \* around (18) Fasten off. If you are using Craft Eyes, attach them to either side of the head now and then attach to the front center of the Bottom Shell. If you're not using Craft Eyes, use (Black) to sew 2 eyes to either side of the head.
ForeFlippers(Make2)
With (Yellow), Chain 2 Round 1 - 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook (6) attach stitch marker, move with each new Round. Round 2- \*2 sc in each st; repeat from \* around (12) Round 3- \*2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next st; repeat from \* around (18) Rounds 4-8- \*1 sc in each st; repeat from \* around (18) Round 9- 1 sc in next 3 st, sc2tog x6, 1 sc in next 3 st (12) Rounds 10-14- \*1 sc in each st; repeat from \* around (12) Fasten off. Flatten, lightly stuff and attach to either side of the head.
Hind Flippers (Make 2)
With (Yellow), Chain 2 Round 1 - 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook (6) attach stitch marker, move with each new Round. Round 2- \*2 sc in each st; repeat from \* around (12) Round 3- \*2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next st; repeat from \* around (18) Rounds 4-6- \*1 sc in each st; repeat from \* around (18) Round 7- 1 sc in next 3 st, sc2tog x6, 1 sc in next 3 st (12) Rounds 8-10- \*1 sc in each st; repeat from \* around (12) Fasten off. Flatten, lightly stuff and attach to either side behind the Fore Flippers.
