Materials Needed: Fiesta Yarns Baby Boom, approx 200 yards Bijou Basin Ranch Roslyn, approx 200 yards or com parable sock yarn US Size 2 (2.75m m) and 3 (3.25m m) needles = 16" circular US Size 3 (3.25m m) dou ble pointed needles for decreases (or comparable for other decrease methods) Stitchmarkers YarnNeedle Stitches Used: K -Knit P-Purl K2tog - Knit 2 together K3tog - Knit 3 together YO-Yarn over Gauge: Stitch: 8sts =1inch in KiP1 and stockinette Row: 8 sts =1"in stockinette Hat circumference: 19-20" Hat height: 6 1/2 - 7" Direction s: Using smaller needles, cast on 16o stitches and join in the round, being careful not totwist stitches. Place marker at beginning of round. Work K1, P1 ribbing for 1". Changetolarger needles and work 2 repeats of chart - 32 rounds in total. Recommendplacing stitch markers every 32stitches =4additional markers plus original marking beginning of round. Chart will be repeated 5 times over each round.
