Finished Size: 10" in diameter at brim and 10" long Gauge: 9 clusters and 5 rows = 4"
Materials Needed:
· 1 skein, Red Heart with Love, 100% acrylic, Worsted Wtl 7 oz/198g 370 yd/356.5m color, Mallard or any other worsted weight yarn · I/5/5.5 mm Crochet Hook or size needed to obtain gauge TapestryNeedle Buttons (optional)
Special Stitch:
2 dc cluster (cl) - (yo, insert hook into st, yo, pull through 2 loops) twice, yo, pull through 3 loops.
Notes:
· All joins are made with slst in the first st. As you are working the brim be sure to keep your stitches even an not too tight. ·For the first stitches in each round you can either use a ch 3 or chainless double Crochet. Rnd 1: 12 dc into slip ring, join. Rnd 2: 2 dc in each st around, join. (24 dc) Rnd 3: Dc, ch 1 in each st around, join (24 dc and 24 ch-1 sps) Rnd 4: Cl in each dc and ch-1 sp around, join (48 cl) Rnd 5-9: Cl in each st around, join. Rnd 10: Ch 1, sc in each st around, join. Rnd 11: Ch 1 sc in blo (back loops only) in each st around, join. Rnd 12&13: Rep rnd 11. Rnd 14: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Fasten off and weave in ends.
