The shawl shown in pattern has: 111cm in longest side, 49cm in height, and 73cm in two smaller sides. Used materials: 100gr (2 skeins 175m/50gr) of cotton Baumwolle Cable. You can use any other material. Used needles: 3mm. PATTERN: The shawl is knitted from bottom corner up, spreading. Use the needles suggested on yarn label. It would be convenient to use circular needels, due to later large dimension of the shawl. Cast on 4 stitches, knit them all. Follow the chart on page 3. (chart clarifications are given in the next page)

Row 67-68: Work Rows 1 and 2 of Sleeve Short The chart has 2 parts: - the first displeys complete starting triangle. - the secong part is separated, due to continuous insrease in dimensions. You can make your shawl in your dimensions, but the proportions will remain similar. The chart shows only odd rows. The even rows (2., 4., 6. ... ) are worked in this way: knit 2 stitches , \*purl stitches\*, but knit last 2 stitches.

THELADDERand AFTERTHOUGHT YARN OVER (AYO)
Find the horizontal thread between two stitches - the ladder. Pick it up with your working needdle, from the front side. Knit it. This way make a hole, but smaller than Yarn Over. When you have reached desired dimension, finish rows as in chart, and then knit 2 last rows. Cast off. Tip: to make gende edge, use 1-2mm bigger neddle to cast off. Weave all the ends. Genly wash and block horizontaly. You can embelish sides of shawl with pearl or fringes.
