Weave in yarn ends with yarn needle. Make a pompom with all 3 colors of yarn. You can of course use a pompom maker if you happen to have one. I wrapped my yarn around a very small purse sized book several times. Carefully slide the yarn off of the book and tie a piece of yarn around the center of all the wraps very tightly. Flip over and knot again on the opposite side. Leave this piece of yarn long, as you can use it to attach to the hat. Now, cut all of the loops of the pompom and shape as desired with your scissors. Take the long piece of yarn that you tied the knots with and thread them thru the top of the hat from the right side to the wrong side. Weave this tail in and out of the center 6 sc from Round 1 of the hat until secure. Trim excess.
