Colors used in the picture are Caron One Pound Lavender Blue SoftSage Pale Green Lilac (you need a small amount for the trim) I hook 91/2" wide 4 %2 high SPECIALSTITCH dc3tog: Double crochet 3 together—-[Yarn over, insert hook in next stitch and draw up a loop, yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook] 3 times, yarn over and draw through all 4 loops on hook. NOTE: To change color, work last stitch of old color to last yarn over. Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops on hook to complete stitch. Fasten off old color. Chain 31. Row 1: With A, dc in 4th ch from hook (beginning ch counts as dc) and in each ch to end. Place 3 dc in last st. Dc around the opposite side of beg ch, 2 dc in the last st, join. (60) Row 2: Ch 2 (counts as 1 dc), \*2 dc in next dc, ch 1, sk next 3 dc, 2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc; repeat from \* around; 2 dc in the same space as the beg ch 2 sp. Change to B. Sl st top of beg ch 2. Row 3: Ch 1, sc in same stitch, sc in next 2 dc, working around the ch-1 sp, dc3tog over 3 skipped sts of row 1, \*sc in next 5 dc, working in front of next ch-1 sp, dc3tog over 3 skipped sts 2 rows below; repeat from \* around to last 2 dc, sc in last 2 dc, join. Row 4: Sl st in next 3 st, Ch 2, dc in same sp as ch 2, dc in next dc3tog, \*2 dc in next sc, ch 1, sk next 3 sc, 2 dc in next sc, dc in next dc3tog; repeat from \* around to last 3 sc, ch 1, change to C, sl st to top of beg ch 2. Row 5: With C, ch 1, sc in same stitch and in the next 4 dc, \*working around the ch-1 sp, dc3tog over 3 skipped sts from row 3, sc in next 5 sc; repeat from \*around ending with a dc3tog, sl st in ch1-sc. Row 6: Ch 2, 1 dc in same st, ch 1, sk next 3 sc, 2 dc in next sc, \*dc in next dc3tog, 2 dc in next sc, ch 1, sk next 3 sc, 2 dc in next sc; repeat from \* around to the last dc3tog , dc in the dc3tog, sl st in the beg ch 1. Rows 7 and 8: With A, repeat Rows 3 and 4. Rows 9 and 10: With B, repeat Rows 5 and 6. Rows 11 and 12: With C, repeat Rows 3 and 4. Rows 13 and 14: With A, repeat Rows 5 and 6. Fasten off in the end. To make the fold: Row 1: With A, sc across 29 sts. Ch 1, Turn Row 2: With B, sc across, ch 1, turn. Row 3: With C, sc across, ch 1, turn. Rows 4-10: Repeat sequence above For the trim: Rev sc across the top of the flap and sc around with lilac. For the button loop: Find the 2 middle rev sc sts in on the flap, attach lilac to the 1" st and ch 6, join to the next rev sc. Want it bigger?
