Bra Top
(Make 2 pieces) Begin with Ch 31,(36,41) Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn. (30,35,40sc) Cont in sc, dec 1 sc at beg of every row until one st remains. Work sc all around edges, working 3sc in corners, join with sl st. Fasten off. If you are planning to sew in a liner, this is a great time to trace the outline of your work to use as a pattern for cutting out your liner fabric. Sew liner in later, after you have completed all the crocheting. Pin liner fabric to inside of crochet (much like basting a quilt), fold in edges of fabric and hand stitch your liner in place. Not sure what fabric to use as a liner? Use swimsuit liner fabric (find it next to the swimsuit fabric), or ask the sales clerk at the fabric cutting counter for advice and bring your crocheted suit with you.Remove pins. Join with sc in bottom corner, ch 4, tr in each st across bottom edge of triangle, ch 1, turn, work 3 sc in side of tr, sc in next st, ch 3, work 2dc in same st, 3dc in next st and each st across side edge. At top corner of triangle ch 100 (for tie), dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in rem chs, work 3 dc in each st across unworked side edge, sl st into side of beg ch 4, fasten off. To make tie for bottom of bra top: Ch 200(225,250), dc in 4th ch from hook, and in each ch across, fasten off.
