a Knitting Pattern by Laura Sapergia this is a Home Sweet Home publication Sizes: Sm (Med/Lg) Recommended Yarn: Malabrigo Worsted, Patons Merino Recommended Needle Size: US Size 6/ 4MM 16" circular needle, US Size 6/ 4MM doublepointed needles Tools and materials: Stitch marker, darning needle Additional suggestions: To achieve double happiness choose a thicker worsted, heathered yarns look great as do tonal hand dyed yarns. The band could be easily worked in a complimentary colour for extra oomph.

DIRECTIONS
Band Work a 10 stitch band using the Sideways Edge Cast On Technique as follows: CO 11 sts. Set up row: Knit 10 sts, pm, K1, turn Row 1: Kfb, sm, K to end. Row 2: Sl1, K to marker, sm, K1, turn. t Rows 1 & 2 until there are 72 (80) sts along side edge. End on Row 2 BO 10 sts, remove marker, K along edge to last st, ssk, replace makel Body Zig Round 1: yo, \*K6, K2tog, yo, repeat from \* to last 8 sts, K6, K2tog. Round 2: K 1 round. Round 13: yo, \*ssk, K6, yo, repeat from \* to last 8 sts, ssk, K6. Round 14: Knit all sts. Round 15: K1, \*yo, ssk, K6, repeat from \* to last 7 sts, yo ssk, K to end. Round 16: Knit all sts. Round 17: K2, \*yo, ssk, K6, repeat from \* to last 6 sts, yo, ssk, K to end. Round 18: Knit all sts. Round 19: K3, \*yo, ssk, K6, repeat from \* to last 5 sts, yo, ssk, K to end. Round 20: Knit all sts. Round 21: K4, \*yo, ssk, K6, repeat from \* to last 4 sts, yo, ssk, K to end. Round 22: Knit all sts. Round 34: Remove marker, K3, replace marker, yo, ssk, \*K2, yo, ssk, repeat from \* to last 2 sts, K2. Round 35: \*yo, ssk, K1, repeat from \* to end. Round 36: K1, ssk, repeat from \* to end. Remove marker, (K1, ssk) 10 times. Cut yarn, draw tail through the remaining sts.
FINISHING
