Cherry tree fane
Pattern: Hanna-Kaisa Hamalainen Translation: sopaipillas When you gra yan and nedles the sofa in front of the television, something happens. You are enlightened by the fire of inspiration for α pattern, which means, this time around, by this childhood-favourite that is Mary Poppins. More specifically, the name of these wool socks (kirsikkatie means cherry tree lane in Finnish) comes from the famous zigzagging street where Mary Poppins arrives and where her story takes place. To knit these Mary Poppins-inspired socks, I couldn't but pick up some Maija yarn, (Maija means Mary in Finnish and Maija yarn is Q popular brand in Finland). But whichever sock yarn with the same weight will do.
