This is my reproduction of the gorgeous lace tam Mary Margaret wears on Once Upon a Time (the photo on the left is from the show, and the one on the right is the one I made)

About 180m/200y fingering weight yarn (I used Crystal Palace Mini Solid but if I did this again I probably wouldn't use merino) 2.5mm circular needles (US 1 1/2) 3.25mm circs (US 3) ·3.25mm dpns (US 3) ·One marker Gauge 6-7 sts per inch/2.5 cm
Ready? Set? Go!
1. Using smaller needles, CO 168, join in round and mark beginning of round 2. 1x1 rib for 8 rows 3. Change to larger needles and knit one row 4. Complete main pattern chart (on rows 16, 20, 24, 28, and 32, finish round by removing marker, knitting one, and replacing marker) 5. Then complete crown lace chart 6.
