Skill Level: Intermediate Finished size: Scarf is approximately 8" wide by $60^{\circ}$ long. Wrap is approximately $18^{\bullet}$ wideby $60^{\circ}$ long.
Materials:
U.S. sizeG $\mathrm{4.25\;mm})$ crochet hook or size to obtain gauge Knit PicksTM Wool of the Andes TM (aran weight) in various colors and amounts. Some of the colors used in my example include: Wine Kettle Dyed Pumpkin Grasshopper Kettle Dyed Painted Desert Jay Kettle Dyed Thyme Eggplant Kettle Dyed Cranberry Oak Kettle Dyed Hollyberry Gold Kettle Dyed Firecracker Heather Auburn Kettle Dyed Fern Soot Kettle Dyed Snickerdoodle

Lake Ice Heather Amber Heather Camel Heather Tidepool Heather Forest Heather Amethyst Heather Persimmon Heather Dove Heather Gauge: 1 complete hexagon $=3.5$ inches (corner to corner). Each “"row” adds 3 inches to length. Make full hexagons and half hexagons as listed below consisting of a variety of colors. You can choose 6 colors or 40 colors-it is up to you! Then whipstitch the pieces together in 20 rows of 2 whole $+\,1$ half hexagons (scarf-as pictured), or 20 rows of 5 whole $+\,1$ half hexagon (wrap). Finally, work a round of sc evenly all the way around the edge. On the uneven ends, use 2 sc on hexagon “points? 3 sc on corners, and sc 2 tog at seams.
Full Hexagon-make 40 for the scarf or 100 for the wrap.
Starting with the first color desired, ch 4. SI s in $1^{\mathrm{{st}}}$ ch to form a ring. Round 1: Ch 3 (counts as a dc). In ring work: 1 dc, ch 1. Then, (2 dc, ch 1) 5 times. Ch 1. Join with sl st to $3^{\mathrm{rd}}$ ch of beg ch. End first color. You should have 6 2-dc groups.

Round 2: In any ch-1 sp, join second color. Ch 3. In same sp work: 1 dc, ch 1, 2 dc, ch 1 (4- dc group created). \*In next ch 1 sp, work: 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc, ch $1^{*}$ . Repeat from \* to $^*4$ more times. Join with sl st to $3^{\mathrm{rd}}$ ch of beg ch. End second color. You should have 6 4-dc groups. Round 3: Join third color in center ch-1 sp of any 4-dc group. Ch 3. In same sp work: 1 dc, ch 1, 2 dc, ch 1. ${}^{*}\!\ln$ next ch 1 sp (between 4-dc goups), work 2 dc, ch 1. In next ch 1 sp, work $2\;\mathrm{dc}$ , ch 1, 2 dc, ch $1^{*}$ Repeat from \* to $^*4$ times. Join with sl st to $3^{\mathrm{rd}}$ ch or beg ch. End third color. You should have a nice hexagon (6-sided) shape. Weave in all ends.
Half Hexagon-make 20 for either the scarf or the wrap.

You should have 3 2-dc groups separated by ch-1's. Round 2: Join second color in top of beg ch-3 of first round. Ch 3. In same st, work 1 dc, ch 1. \*In next ch-1 sp, work 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc, ch 1 (4-dc group created)\* Repeat from \* to \* once. In last dc, work 2 dc. End second color. Round 3: Join third color in top of beg ch-3 of second round. Ch 3. In same st, work 1 dc, ch 1. In next ch 1 sp,work $2\;\mathrm{dc}$ , ch 1. \*In next ch 1 sp work, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc, ch 1. In next ch 1 sp, work 2 dc, ch $1^{*}$ .Repeat from \* to \* once. In last dc, work 2 dc. End third color. Weave in all ends.
