VITELOTTES (English)
Vitelotte is an ancient and French cultivar of blue-violet potato. These delicate fingerless glovez combine the refinement of simple lace with eyelet patterns, spread along the thumb. You can easily make the cuff longer and get long Victorian mittens! The purl stitch of the lace patterns is knitted to fingertips, making the placement of the final lace stitch patterns easier. Finished size : 7, but I have athin hand rather than a large one ! The length of the thumb and fingers can be easily adapted by decreasing or removing the jersey portion,_by repeating 2 or 3 timez the lace or by increasing lessfor the thuumb.
