Hat Edging:
Hook: H8 / 5.00mm \*\*Hat Eding is worked using 2 strands held tgether asne. Join yarn with sc near where you fastened off on the backside of the hat. Ch 1, rev sc in each st around hat, earflaps and chin strap. Fasten Off. Weave in ends. Button: Attach a 1" button to the ear flap opposite of where you worked the chin strap.
Hat Tassel:
Hook: H8 / 5.00mm \*\* Tassel is worked using only srand of yarn. \*TasePffisaebycuingeofvarioucolrfy. Ch8, pull yarn in 8th ch to make alarge loop, slide 20 -5" pieces of ya, halfway into loop you just created, pulloop tight, then s st in next ch and each remaining ch to the end. Fasten off leaving a long tail to sew tassel onto hat. With a contrasting color of yan, wrap around the 20 pieces of yarn and knot to create the tassel. Sew tassel onto hat. Separate strands of yarn to give tassel a fuzzy pom effect.
Lollipops:
Hook: F5 / 3.75mm \*\* Lllipops ae worked using only srandof yan. Make as many lollipops as you'd like.
Lolli
Using White yarn, ch 26, join next color to ch (whatever color you'd like your lollipop to be), work 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each ch across. Fasten off. With a needle and thread, take work and wind around like a spiral and secure in place with needle and thread.
Ch 24, Fasten Off Fold chain in half and twist. Sew twist in place with a needle and thread, then sew onto lollipop.
Bow
Using a single strand of yarn, wrap around the stem, just under the lolipop and make a bow.Stitch in place with needle and thread to keep it fromi coming untied. Attach lollipops to hat using needle and thread.
