Spring Mandala Crochet Pattern: A Relaxing Craft Project for Your Home Decor

Pattern illustration

SPRING MANDALA In some cultures mandalas are used to focus attention and help meditation as a tool for spiritual guidance. Over the time the mandala has become a generic term for any diagram, chart or geometric pattern to represent a version of the universe, a microcosm. For the crafter, for those who love home decor and passionateabouteverytechniqueandmaterial the craft corner or a laboratory is a space to relax, focus and work on our projects and on what we like. It is ourmicrocosm. A mandala, made in our favorite colors or palette, is a perfect decoration on the wall above the desk or work table, to concentrate and focus ideas avoiding creativecrises!

Materials:

- cotton yarn in white, pale green, medium green, dark green, pink (few meters of each colour) I used an Italian brand, Silke Estate (127 m per 50g) - 2,5 mm (US B/1 or C/2) crochet hook - 20 cm diameter metal circle tapestry needle

Measurements:

20 cm diameter

Notes:

Spring mandala is worked from the center to the edge, every round has a different colour (that you can read at the beginning of each round). Fasten off at the end of each Round and join the new colour as indicated in the pattern. The little arrow in the chart shows where join yarn for each round. You can follow the written pattern or only the chart, both have all the information you need!
