Felting Instructions
To protect your washing machine, place hat in a zippered bag or pillow case. Set washing machine for hot wash, low water level and maximum agitation. Add a small amount of mild detergent.

Check progress every 5 minutes, resetting washing machine to continue agitating as often as necessary. Do not let machine drain and spin. When felting is complete, remove from washing machine and rinse by hand. Roll in towels. Fold and sew pockets with sewing machine. Pockets can be different sizes for straight needles, circular needles and supplies.
