Supplies:
H hook (5mm) Tapestry needle to sew on heart and weave in ends Worsted weight yarn (I used Vanna's Choice) Gauge: Working hdc's 8 sts and 5 rows = 2" square
Cozy (finished size approximately 3" long by 4" wide)
Ch 26, sl st to join taking care not to twist the chain. Rnd 1: ch 1, hdc in join and each chain around, join w/ sl st to 1st hdc. ( 27) Rnd 2-6: ch 2 (counts as dc), dc in each hdc around, join w/ sl st to top of ch 2. (27 Rnd 7: ch 1, hdc in each dc around, join w/ sl st to 1"t hdc. Cut yarn and weave in ends. Heart: (finished size approximately 2 % inches wide by 2 % inches long) Beginning with a magic circle, ch 3 (counts as st), 10 dc in circle. (11) DO NOT cinch yarn until you finish Rnd 3. Row 1: Ch 1, turn, hdc in next 5 dc, 3 hdc in next, hdc in next 5 dc. Rnd 2: Ch 1, turn, hdc in next 6 hdc, 3 hdc in next, hdc in next 6 hdc, 1 hdc in side of hdc from row 1, 3 hdc in the length of the dc, sl st in magic circle, hdc 3 in beginning ch 3, 1 hdc in side of hdc from row 1, join w/ sl st to ch 1 from Rnd 3.
