Using size 3.25mm needles and MAIN (RUST) Cast on 32 sts and knit 3 rows. Then commencing with a purl row stocking stitch 3 rows. Break off the yarn and keep to one side. Make another leg the same but do not break off the yarn . Next row, Cast on 2 sts and knit these 2 sts and knit across the next 32 sts, cast on 4 sts ,then knit the 32 sts from the first leg and cast on a further 2 sts. = 72sts Starting with a purl row, stocking stitch 11 rows. Now start the hip shaping; Next row, K16, Slip 1 , knit 1, psso, k36, Slip 1, knit 1, psso, Knit 16 Next row, Purl Next row, K16, Slip 1 , knit 1, psso, k34, Slip 1, knit 1, psso, Knit 16 Next row, Purl Next row, K16, Slip 1 , knit 1, psso, k32, Slip 1, knit 1, psso, Knit 16 = 66 sts Next row, Purl Now commence the left back shaping: 1st row, Knit 21 turn and purl to end of row. Next row, Knit 17 turn and purl to end of row. Next row, Knit 13 turn and purl to end of row. Next row, Knit 5 turn and purl to end of row. Next row, Knit all across the row. BELT

Cast on 60sts using size 3.25mm needles and MAIN (RUST) 1st row (WRONG SIDE) knit. Knit a further 3 rows and cast off. Attach a trouser hook to one end of the belt and make a loop at the other. Make 5 loops by crocheting Chain stitch 4 chain. Attach 3 loops evenly to the side and back of the short's waistband and 2 to the front and thread the belt through the loops.

DRAWSTRING BAG

Cast on 17sts using size 3.25mm needles and CONTRAST (BEIGE) Knit 6 rows Next row make eyelet holes, (K1, YFWD, K2tog ) to the end of the row. Knit a further 39 rows Next row make eyelet holes, (K1, YFWD, K2tog ) to the end of the row. Knit 6 rows and cast off. Fold the bag in half, lining up the 2 eyelet hole rows and stitch up the side seams. Using the crochet hook, Make 2 chains, one of 60 chain and one of 75 chain. Stitch the longer chain ends inside the bag at the row above the eyeleyt holes to make the strap. thread the shorter chain through the eyelet holes and attach beads as for the waistcoat. Draw this chain up slightly and tie in a bow .

Using size 3.25 needles and Contrast Colour (Beige)cast on 61 sts Row 1. Right side ( K1, P3 )all across row to last stitch ,K1 Row 2. Wrong side (P1, K3 ) all across row to last stitch , P1 Repeat the last 2 rows a further 12 times = 26 rows altogether. Row 27. (Sl1k, P1, psso, p2,) repeat to last stitch, K1 Row 28, ( P1, K2,) repeat to last stitch ,P1 Row 29. ( Sl1k, P1, psso, p1) repeat to last stitch, k1 Row 30, (P1, K1,) repeat to last stitch, P1 Row 31, (Sl1k,p1, psso,) repeat to last stitch K1 Row32, P2tog all across the row Break yarn and thread through the remaining 8sts. Pull up tightly and stitch centre back seam.

FLOWER FOR HAT

Using size 3.25mm needles and Main (RUST)cast on 6sts 1st and 2nd rows, Knit 3'd row, Inc 1 st in first st. Knit to end of row 4th row, Knit 5th & 6th rows, As 3rd and 4th rows. = 8sts 7th row, K2togtbl. Knit to end of row. 8th row, Knit gth and 1oth rows, As 7th and 8th rows = 6sts. 11th row, Cast off 3 sts, Knit to end of row, =3sts 12th row, Knit 13th row, Cast on 3 sts, Knit to end of row, =6sts 14th row, Knit Repeat 3'd to 14th rows 3 times more, then repeat 3rd to 12th rows once. Cast off remaining 3sts leaving a long end.(= 5 petals) Thread end onto a tapestry needle and weave through straight (inner) edge of petals. Draw up tightly to form flower. Sew cast off edge of last petal to side of first petal.

FLOWER CENTRE

Cast on 3sts in MAIN (RUST) 1st row (right side). Increase 1st in first 2sts K1 = 5sts 2nd and alternate rows, Purl 3rd row, Increase 1 st in first st, K2. Increase 1 st in next st. K1. =7sts 5th row, K1, K2tog, K1, K2togtbl, K1, =5sts 7th row, K1, Sl1k, K2tog, psso, K1, =3sts 8th row, P3tog. Fasten off and sew centre of flower to flower. Attach the flower to the hat.
