Fishy Fish Bathmitt
a Surly Sheep Pattern These little bath mitts and washcloths are just the thing for imaginative little brains during bathtime. They are perfectIy sized for kiddy hands and make sudsing up fun. Sizes: One size fits all kiddie hands Finished Measurements: 5.5" by 4". Final measurements will vary depending on gauge and yarnused. 'arn: worsted weight yarn (Il used Lily Sugar'n Cream yarn with excellent results.) Needles: size US 6 needle Notions: darning needle Gauge: 20 sts and 2 garter ridge sets = 4"(10cm)in garter stitch. Note: I use a smaller needle than specified by the yarn in order to create a denser fabric for the washcloth or bathmitt. Cotton has a tendancy to stretch when wet so the tighter gauge helps it keep its shape. Sl1: Slip stitch purlwise with the working yarn in front. K2tog: Knit 2 stitches together. Kfb: Knit into both the front andthe back of the stitch. Please do not copy, redistribute or resell this pattern in any way. Hats made from my pattern may be sold on Etsy and in other venues. All I ask is that the pattern is acknowledged as a surly sheep design with a link to my Etsy page.
