This pattern is written for two sizes: Small/Medium - hand circumference 16.5 - 18.5cm (6.5 - 7.25 inches) Large - hand circumference 19 - 20cm (7.5 - 8 inches)

A note on sizing:

These mittens will look ridiculously small as you knit them. They are designed with negative ease and intended to fit snugly, so don't panic! The large size is quite large, so if you're on the border between the sizes, go down. Cast on 48 (52) stitches and join to work in the round. If working on dpns, ensure that you have 24 (26) on the first needle so that the cable pattern is not split. Rounds 1-20: Small: K1, (P2, K2) to last three stitches, P2, K1 Large: (K2, P2) around Cable section (see charts) (Even rounds are the same as Rounds 1 -20)
