A simple one line repeat pattern, using just sc and ch. This simple mobile pouch can be made in half an hour, and fits the I-phone 4S, I-phone 5, as well as the Samsung Galaxy S Ill Mini smart phones. It has been designed for easy flip open, text, flip close' use. Additionally, this pattern is adjustable to fit several phones. Feel free to make as many of these as you like for gifting, local craft fairs, auctions, raffles, bazaars, but please do not sell finished items online. Yarn used : 4 - ply (medium fingering) acrylic ; 20g (66 yds approx) Hook : 4.o0 mm (US 6) ; Embroidery needle to sew in ends Size : 5"x 2.4"x 0.3" Skill Level :Easy Gauge : Gauge is not critical, but the designer achieved 5 sc and 4 rows (in pattern) = 1" As per CYCA specs, yarn weight : Abbreviations used: (Pattern uses US terminology) rep : Repeat ch : Chain sC : Single Crochet st:Stitch hk : Hook Start with 15 ch (multiples of 2 + 1) Row 1 : sc in 2nd st from hk, sc in each ch to end. Turn. (14 sc) Row 2 : ch 1 (does not count as a st, now and through pattern); sc in 1't sc, \*ch 1, sk next sc, sc in next sc\*, rep from \* to \* till2nd last st, sc in last st. Turn. (8 sc, six ch-1 sps) Row 3 : ch 1, sc in 1't sc, \* ch 1, sk next sc, sc in next ch-1 sp\*, rep from \* to \* till 2nd last st, sc in last st. Turn. (8 sc, six ch-1 sps) heck gauge : Check that the width of your work is the width of your mobile phone Rep Rows 3 till you reach the desired length; (which is twice the length of your mobile phone plus 1' or about 11' for above phone specifications. Next row : ch 1, sc in next 7 st (sc or ch-1 sp), ch 5, sc in same sc, sc till end. (14 sc, ch-5 loop). Fold project 2" from bottom, and sew to create a small pouch. (where you can easily slip your phone) 2. Attach button on this lower half. 3. Slip your mobile in.. show off!
