Skills:

MOROCCAN TILE CHART

· duplicate stitching or stranded colorwork

Requirements:

· a nearly completed hexipuff (unstuffed) · fingering weight/dk weight yarn scrapsinvarious colors& textures \*\*The Handiera chart is best made with different shade of natural greys, plus a little bit of bling. ·tapestry needle · a bit of patience & love (suggested)

Notes on method:

You can see on the charts that they are 19 sts wide(one less than the pattern) and 22 rows tall (one more than the pattern). This is because when I make my puffs, the last stitch folds over and makes it threedimensional, helping it to be nice and, well, puffy. Embroidering that last stitch doesn't work out so great, then. All of my charts work off of a centered stitch-if you are using the live stitches at the top of a nearly completed hexipuff, this is stitch 5, onthecharts itismarked as stitch 10.I find it's much easier to find that centerstitchandstartworkingfrom the top of the chart, downwards. That way all the duplicate stitches can loop onto the ones above them, resulting in an even image with fewer gaps. My hexipuffs have an extra round on the bottom, after the cast-onand-knit-one-round, because they were initially coming out very squat and un-hexagonal. It gives the puff a little boost and a little extra room to design on. Feel free to use my suggestions as is, or modify them to however you prefer to create your hexipuffs! Thanks to Stephanie Dosen of Tiny Owl Knits, for giving us a wonderful pattern to play aroundwith. And remember, hexagons are forever.
