Back
Cast on 108 (120) 132 sts. Follow the pattern until the work measures 32 (34) 35 cm. Cast off 12 sts on either side for the armhole shaping and continue until the armholes measure 21 (22) 23 cm. Leave the sts on a spare needle for making up later.
Front
Cast on and work as for the back until the armholes measure 13 (14) 14 cm. Cast off the centre 40 sts and work each side separately. Leave the sts on a spare needle for making up later.
Sleeves
Cast on 48 (54) 60 sts. After the first pattern stripe, increase 1 stitch on either side every 10th row. Add a new bobble to the pattern once there are enough sts. Cast off when the sleeve measures 52 (54) 55 cm.
Making up
Holding the needles parallel, with the right sides of the work facing, knit together one stitch from each needle, casting off at the same time. When one shoulder has been completed, continue to cast off the 40 sts on the back neck until you get to the other shoulder, which is cast off as for the first. Sew the sleeves into the armholes, with the upper part of each side attached to the cast-off shaping. Sew up the sleeve and side seams in one go.

Rows 1-7: Colour A. Stockinette stitch, beginning with a purl row. Row 8: Colour B: Knit 11, \*turn, slip 1 with the yarn to the back, knit 3, turn, purl 4, knit 12. Repeat from \* finishing the last repeat with 1 knit stitch. Row 9: Knit 5, \*turn, purl 4, turn, knit 3, slip 1 with the yarn to the back, knit 12. Repeat from \* finishing the last repeat with 7 knit stitches. Row 10: Colour A: Knit 8, \*slip 2 sts, knit 10. Repeat from \* finishing the last repeat with 2 knit stitches. Rows 11-17: Colour A and stockinette stitch. Row 18: Colour B. Knit 5, \*turn, slip 1, knit 3, turn, purl 4, knit 12. Repeat from \* finishing the last repeat with 7 knit stitches. Row 19: Knit 11, \*turn, purl 4, turn, knit 3, slip 1, knit 12. Repeat from \* finishing the last repeat with 1 knit stitch. Row 20: Colour A. Knit 2, \*slip 2 sts, knit 10.
