120 (100) g Pearl Indica rose (50% Pearl fibre, 50% Tencel), lace weight, 875m/100g Long knitting needle 3 mm Crochet hook 3 mm 1 bodkin

Gauge:

30 stitches x 46 rows for 10 x 10 cm The shawl is made top down. The pattern is created with increases and decreases as well as cast off and cast on of stitches.

Pattern:

The repetition consists of 16 stitches and 20 rows. After each repetition in height, cast or 5 stitches less on both sides. Row 1(front side): edge stitch, k4, \*cast off 8 stitches, k8, repeat from \*, k4, edge stitch Row 2 (back side): edge stitch, p4, \*p8, cast on 10 stitches, repeat from \*, p4, edge stitch Row 3: edge stitch, k3, \*ssk, k8, k2tog, repeat from \*, k3, edge stitch Row 4: purl Row 5: edge stitch, \*ssk, k5, M1, k2, M1, k5, k2tog, repeat from \*, edge stitch Rows 6-9: repeat rows 4 and 5 twice Row 10: purl Row 11: cast off 8 stitches, k5, \*cast off 8 stitches, k8, repeat from \*, k5, cast off 8 stitches Row 12: edge stitch, p4, \*p8, cast on 10 stitches, repeat from \*, p4, edge stitch Row 13 - 20: repeat rows 3 to 10 Repeat rows 11 - 20.

Description:

Cast on 470 (438) stitches with needle 3 mm. Garter stitch 4 rows, then 10 rows stockinette stitch. Now start with pattern like on chart or description, on both edges you have one edge stitch. After each repetition (means each 10 rows) cast on 4 stitches less on both sides of shawl. Go on in pattern with less cast on stitches till you have only one repetition (18 stitches) left. This are 29 (27) repetition in height or 290 (270) rows. Cast off the last 18 stitches. Crochet around all edges 2 rows of single crochet with hook 3mm. Thread in your remaining threads, wash and block to measurements.
