The Ribbons of Hope pattern is dedicated to all those who have fought or arefighting thebattle ofcancer.
Cancer Awareness Ribbon colors are as follows; (this list is not conclusive) All cancers - Lavender, Appendix - Amber, Bladder - Yellow, Bone - White with Gold outline, Brain - Grey, Breast - Pink, Male Breast - 1/2blue/1/2 pink, Cervical - Teal/White, Childhood Cancer - Gold, Colon & Colorectal - Dark Blue/Brown, Esophageal - Periwinkle, Gallbladder/Bile Duct - Amber, Gynecological - Lavender, Head & Neck - Burgundy/Ivory, Hodgkin's Disease - Violet, Kidney/Renal - Orange or Kelly Green, Leiomyosarcoma - Purple, Leukemia - Orange, Liver - Emerald, Lung - White, Lymphoma - Lime, or red, Melanoma - Black, Mesothelioma - Royal Blue, Multiple Myeloma -- Burgundy, Ovarian - Teal, Pancreatic - Purple, Prostate - Light Blue, Retinoblastoma - White, Sarcoma/Bone - Yellow, Stomach - Periwinkle, Testicular - Orchid, Thyroid - Teal/Pink/Blue, Transplant - Green, Uterine - Peach
Materials:
10 grams of heavy dk or light worsted yarn Size 6 (4mm) needle 3 Small stitch holders Size: 5" in height, gauge is not an issue

Repeat these 2 rows 5 more times for a total of 10 rows. Put these 4 stitches on a stitch holder and cut yarn leaving a 5"tail. Knit the next 4 stitches on needle and make finger the same length as first one. Repeat until all 3 fingers done. Now put all the stitches on holders back on your knitting needle repeat R1 & R2 of Stocking Stitch Section until you have completed 42 more rows. Now make the 3 fingers just like the others. Weave these 3 fingers over and under the first set of fingers. Put all the stitches on holders back on your needles. Repeat stocking stitch section for a total of 14 rows and bind off.
