Fold shoes in half and sew up bottom and back seam leaving top open. Legs & Arms Both these are made from twisted cord in orange. For the arms use 4 strands of orange yarn 17 inches long for each arm. For the legs use 4 strands of orange yarn 34 inches long for each leg Cut the strands of yarn and fold them in half, tie a knot in one end, tie the other end to a hook, or a door handle. Insert a knitting needle through the end with the knot and Twist the knitting needle clockwise until the strands are well twisted together and, holding the centre of the cord, place the needle and the hook end together, keeping the cord taut to avoid tangling. Release the centre of the cord so that the two halves twist together. Smooth out any bumps Knot one end. Sew arms and legs as shown in picture leaving the knotted end to put inside mittens and shoes. Push knots into mittens and shoes and secure. For making the pumpkins tendril, wind wool evenly around a pipe cleaner, glue the wool to the pipe cleaner at both ends. When dry, coil the pipe cleaner around a pencil to make spiral. Push one end into stalk. (Omit this is giving to a child) Cut a small triangle in black felt for nose and glue just a little above centre in the middle of the head. Cut a half circle of black felt and cut two small notches into the straight edge to give the impression of teeth. (See main picture) Glue this in the centre of the face, 2 rows below nose. Glue on the google eyes equally, just above the nose 6 stitches apart. All done! Please make and sell as many of Russet as you wish, but please do not sell the pattern. Thank you.
