These sweet mittens will work up with a sport weight yarn and involves basic colourwork. This pattern is ideal is you are new to doing colourwork and would like an easy project.
Instructions:
CO 40 sts Work 16 rnds in K2, P2 rib Change to st st and work 4 rnds
Thumb Gusset:
Rad3:KRKML,kit to endomd Red6:Knilace next 7s ontoholder Cut MC and continue in c.c. after row 10 of chart. Work 2 rnds even.
Dec Rnds:
Rnd 1: \*K2, K2tog\* rep from \* to \* to end of rnd Rnd 2 (and all even rnds): Knit Rnd 3: \*K1, K2tog\*, rep from \* to \* to end of rnd Rnd 5: \*K2tog\*, rep to end of rnd Cut yarn, pull through rem sts.
Thumb:
Move sts from holder onto needle. PU and knit tbl 11 sts from around thumb hole. (18 sts). Arrange sts evenly on needles. Knit in st st for 14 rnds.
Dec Rnds:
Work as for Dec. Rnds 3-5 of mitten. Weave in all ends.
