Bind Off, knitting the knit stitches and purling the purls. Hide the yarn tails with the yarn needle. With your fingers (or a crochet hook) create a length of chain stitches about 12 inches long (depending on how large a bow you want to make when you tie the bib on the teapot spout). Or, use a bit of ribbon. With the right side of the bib facing you, run the cord thru the holes created by the yarn overs. You should end up with both tails on the front of the bib. You can make the bib longer or shorter by changing the number of row repeats. Just remember to make an even number of yarn over eyelet holes. It makes tying the bib on a bit neater. The yarn for the bib should be absorbent and washable. And tea stains, so that might be a consideration when making a color choice. Please enjoy the pattern for personal use, or knit up as a charitable fund raiser. @Marilyn Corillo 2012
