Isia Isabelle cowl

By Andrée-Anne Marceau This infinity cowl uses just one skein of worsted yarn· It is worked in the round and is easy to make but never gets boring because almost every row is different. The result is a beautiful textured cowl that you will enjoy wearing every day· Measurements : Circumference of 58 inches after blocking when worked at gauge

Material :
- One to 1,5 skein (100-150 g, 201- 300 m) (3,5-5,25 0z, 220-330 yards) of worsted weight yarn. The yarn used for the sample is Cascade 220 Superwash, colorway 1968 (Rainier heather). Any yarn that gives you the correct gauge can be also used. - 4,5 mm (US size 7) crochet hook (or size required to achieve gauge) - darning needle to weave in end
Gauge :
14 dc = 10 cm (4 p0) after blocking (gauge is not super important) Note : If you would like to change the length of this cowl, this is possible using a simple formula. The double of the number of picot you make in row 1 must be divisible by 4. In this case, 94x2=188 and 188/4=47.
Instructions :
1. Ch3, Slst in3'd ch from hook [ch 4, SIst in 3'd ch from hook] 93 times, ch1, Slst in first picot hole tojoin in the round ( holding your work so the top of each picot lays downwards, you see that in every picot there is a hole where you made your Sl st) Be careful to not twist your work. You have now created a picot edge (94 picots). 2. Ch 3 (count as 1dc), dc 1 in same picot hole \*dc 2 in next picot hole\* all around, sc on top of beg ch3 3. BPsc in each st around, Sl st in ist sc 4. Ch 3 (count as idc), dc in each st around, Slst on top of beg ch3 5.
