N.B. The pattern is knit from the bottom up. CO 80 stitches loosely. Join to work in the round, being careful not to twist stitches. Place marker at beginning of round. Work 4 rounds in garter stitch: round l: k all stitches round 2: p all stitches Repeat rounds 1 & 2 once more.
