To adapt this model to your size or to any other yarn :
With the gauge and your body measurements, you make arythmetics and count the stitches numbers you need to work the vest. The measurements for the model shown here are :

For the armholes shapes : you can count 1 more increase in the first group of cast off stitches for 2 sizes. For the V-Neck, the final number of cast off stitches is the same as for the back neck. So after the making of the V-neck you should have on your neddles the number of stitches to knit the shoulders as for the back. So depending on the yarn and the size of the vest, you might have to change the number of decreasing sequences. To pick up the stitches for the collar and the arms, you can use this formula : pick up 1 stitch in 3 rows out of 4. At the edges of the knitting, 1 row will look like a long loop and the next row will look like a knot. So picking up 3 rows out of 4 would be : \*long loop, knot, long loop and skip the next knot\*. Repeat between \*s along the edge. Then, you can change the height of the vest before the armholes shapes and the height of the ribbing in the front.
