Skill level: Beginner. It is helpful to have previous experience in provisional cast on and grafting in order to achieve a seamless loop. Materials: 300 yards bulky weight yarn Scrap yarn and crochet hook for provisional cast on US Size 10 knitting needles Darning needle Finished Size: 8.5" wide by 66" circumference

Pattern may be adjusted to accommodate other weight yarns or to alter the width to suit your preference by changing needle size and number of cast on stitches. Number of stitches must be a multiple of 6 plus 3 to accomplish the zigzag pattern as pictured. This is a simple pattern. There are only 3 different pattern rows. It is helpful to mark the right side with a safety pin or open stitch marker and remember that odd numbers are the right side. A: K3, P3 across, ending with K3 B: P2, (K3,P3) across until last two stitches, K2 C: K1, (P3, K3) across until last stitch, P1 Ip: Using scrap scrap yarn and provisional method, cast on 27 stitches. Knit one rov Begin Pattern with row one, a right side row. Row 1: A Row 4: A Row 7: A Row 10: A Row 2: B Row 5: C Row 8: C Row 11: B Row 3: B Row 6: C Row9: C Row 12: B Repeat pattern rows until piece measures 66 inches or desired length ending with a Row 12. Knit one row. Graft two ends together. Weave in ends. Wear and enjoy!
