Lacy Elegance Crochet Farrings

Materials needed:
- A 1.5 ml crochet hook. - 2 different colored skeins of Auntie Lydia's Size 10 crochet thread - A pair of scissors - A needle or your crochet hook - Sterling Silver earring hooks - Starch spray Notes: Make sure that the second earring ends up the same size as the first one by keeping your tension consistent as you crochet. Also, don't be afraid to experiment with colors! Vibrant or pastel, metallic or sparkly, there is a wide array of options!
Pattern:
1. Ch 5. Join with slst to make ring. 2. Ch 6 (counts as first trc and ch2), \*trc, ch2\* into the loop 7 times, join to the 4th chain of the beginning ch 6. (8 trc's total) 3. Slst into ch 2 space. Ch 2, (counts as first hdc), hdc 3 times into ch 2 space, hdc into trc from last round. \*hdc 4 times into ch 2 space, hdc into top of trc stich from last round\* 7 times, join to the ch 2 from beginning of round with slst. 4. Ch 1. Puff st into first hdc, and ch 1 to close st. Ch 1 and, skipping next hdc, dc in next one. In next hdc, execute one more dc, then ch 2. \*Skip the next hdc and puff st into the following hdc. After closing the st with a ch, ch 1. Skipping the next hdc, dc in the following one. In next hdc, dc, and then ch 2.\* Repeat sequence within \* \* 7 times. Attach the last ch 2 to the puff st with a slst. Fasten off.
5. Attach second color onto the ch 2 space before a puff st. \*Ch 3, sc into ch 1 space. Ch 5, create a picot by slsting into 3rd ch, ch 2, sc into ch 2 space.\* Repeat content within \* \* 8 times. End by slsting into the 1st chain. Fasten off. nto earring using either your 1.5 ml crochet hook or a sewin 7. Repeat steps 1. - 6. to make second earring. 8. Stiffen earrings with a starch spray and dry. 10. Enjoy!
