\*Yarn and buttons in kit \*Size US 8 (5mm) DPN's or Straight Needles \*Needle for weaving in ends and sewing on buttons GAUGE 4 stitches = 1", gauge is relatively unimportant for this project, just make a nice snug rib FINISHED SIZE To fit small to large commercial coffee cup
INSTRUCTIONS
(In the round version): CO 31 stitches onto DPN's. Join, being careful to not twist. Row 1: (K2, P2) 3 times, K5, (P2, K2) 3 times, P2 Repeat row 1 until you have about 30" of yarn left. BO all stitches loosely. Sew buttons onto K5 pillar and weave in ends. (flat version) CO 35 stitches onto straight needles. Row 1: K3, (K2, P2) three times, K5, (P2, K2) three times, K3 Row 2: K3, (P2, K2) three times, P5, (K2, P2) three times, K3 Repeat rounds 1 and 2 until you have about 30" of yarn left. BO all stitches loosely. Sew closed through garter stitch edge. Sew buttons onto K5 pillar and weave in ends
