ZIGGY N BURT MUG WARMERS
Using any left over yarn or as I've done get a ball of rainbow coloured yarn and any other contrast colour for top and bottom.

No 4m double pointed needles If using contrast colour start with that and cast on 64 stitches and knitting in the round - knit 2, purl 2 until back to the beginning. Repeat this row 3 times. On fourth row change to rainbow coloured yarn and continue knit 2, purl 2 until the last four stitches. As you knit them bind them off. From here knit 19 rows in pattern BACK AND FORWARD - not in the round. For 2ot row, change backto contrast yarn and cast on 4 stitches at beginning of row. Turn work, join to other end and continue knitting in the round for 4 rows. Cast off in rib pattern to maintain the stretchiness. Tidy up ends and enjoy! @
