Pull jogless join ends to even out the stitches before weaving in all ends to finish off.
Techniques
Garter stitoh In the flat, Garter stitch is knit every row. When worked in the round, you need to knit one round, then purl one round, to get the samepattern. Hold the needles with the points parallel, in your left hand. Take the yarn in your right, and holding the tail against the front of the bottom needle, wrap the yarn around and in between the two needles in a figure of eight pattern. Each circuit makes a stitch on each needle, having the last st made on the bottom needle. If your co is too “saggy", either tighten it up by working the slack back through after a few rounds, towards the loose tail of yarn, or else co with a smaller needle size than is intended for the work.
Jogless join
K one round of the new yarn. On the first st of the next round, PU the st below the one you are about to knit and slip it onto the right needle. K both sts together. This creates a smooth transition between colours, without the “step" that is usually made when knitting in the round. w&T- wrap and turn. RS: With the yarn in front, slip the next st. Bring the yarn to the back(effectively wrapping the stitch), and slip the st back again. Turn work. Reverse directions for ws rows.
