GLOW
Sizes: Adult slouchy hat. 《 Glow 》 is 《 blush 》's big brother.
Materials:
-1 skein of Holst Garn Supersoft color 《 slate grey 》 (Main color). 1 skein of Holst Garn Samarkand color 《 slate 》 (Main color). 1 skein of Schachenmayer Bravo color neon yellow (Constrasting color). A set of double pointed needles or circular needle size 7 (4,5mm). 一 1 tapestry needle. - 5 markers.
Instructions :
Cast on 1oo sts.and join be careful not to twist as you will now knit in the round. Place marker at beginning of round Start to knit 2x2 rib (knit 2, purl 2) until piece measures 4cm. Once ribbing is the desired lenght switch to color pattern starting with round #1:
Knit straight until piece measures 21cm from cast on edge finishing with round#1.
Crown :
it round#2 of color pattern and place markers every 20 sts. You'll have a total of 5 markers Round 1 : [K1(Mc), (K1(cc), K3(Mc)) 4 times, SI1, SSK(cc), Pass slipped stich over] repeat 5 times (decrease 10 stiches) 90 sts left. Round 2 : K all in MC. Round 3 : [(K3(Mc), K1(cc) 3 times, K3(Mc), SI1, SSK(cc), Pass slipped stich over] repeat 5 times (decrease 10 stiches) 80 sts left. Round 4 : K all in MC. Round 5 : [K1(Mc), (K1(cc), K3(Mc) 3 times, SI1, SSK(cc), Pass slipped stich over] repeat 5 times (decrease 10 stiches) 70 sts left. Round 6 : K all in MC. Round 7 : [(K3(Mc), K1(cc) twice, K3(Mc), SI1, SSK(cc), Pass slipped stich over] repeat 5 times (decrease 10 stiches) 60 sts left. Round 8 : K all in MC. Round 9 : [K1(Mc), (K1(cc), K3(Mc)) twice, S1, SSK(cc), Pass slipped stich over] repeat 5 times (decrease 10 stiches) 50 sts left. Round 10: K all in MC. Round 11 : [K3(Mc), K1(cc), K3(Mc), Sl1, SSK(cc), Pass slipped stich over] repeat 5 times (decrease 10 stiches) 40 sts left. Round 12: K all in MC. Round 13 : [K1(Mc), K1(cc),Sl1, SSK(cc), Pass slipped stich over] repeat 5 times (decrease 10 stiches) 30 sts left. Round 14: K all in MC. Round 15 : [K3(Mc), Sl1, SSK(cc), Pass slipped stich over] repeat 5 times (decrease 10 stiches) 20 sts left. Round 16: K all in MC. Round 17 : [K1(Mc), Sl1, SSK(cc), Pass slipped stich over] repeat 5 times (decrease 10 stiches) 10 sts left. Remove markers and break yarn. Close using tapestry needle pass it trought all 10 sts. Weave in ends. Block ,add pompom or reverse it if you like and enjoy !
Abbreviations:
SSK(cc)= slip two stiches knitwise (one at a time) from your left needle to the right one. Knit both sts using your contrastingcolor.
