Pattern Notes:
· To make the cowl longer or shorter, simply add or subtract Io stitches. This may throw off the ribbing on top & bottom (which is a multiple of four) so just be prepared to make that change as well. This pattern can easily be altered to accommodate any weight yarn, just be aware that the required yardage, etc. will change. · On row 9 of the lace pattern, you'll have to move your marker 1 stitch to the left to correctly execute the top of the chevron. Remove the marker, knit the first stitch, and replace the marker, At the end of the round, this stitch that you just knit will be knit together with the stitch'to its right. Just treat the YO as the new first stitch of the round.
