This is a simple cowl that still has a lot of detail. It reminds me of the Smokies and its many peaks and lowlands in between. You will need US size 5 circular needles

Pattern:

Cast on 200 stitches Do garter stitch for 5 rounds (knit 1 round, purl the next) Stitch pattern Row 1: K1, P1 repeat around Row 2: Work stitches as shown Row 3: P1, K3 repeat around Row 4: Work stitches as shown Row 5: K1, P1 repeat around Row 6: Work stitches as shown Row 7: K2, P1, K1 repeat around Row 8: Work stitches as shown Repeat these 8 rows 56 times Work 4 rounds of garter stitch and then bind off loosely.
