Pattern

Using both yarn, cast on 140 st and start knitting in the round Continue knitting until work measures 45 cm Cast off 70 st and continue in flat on the remaining st, knitting ea row for 25 cm Make buttonholes, yo, k2tog and place where desired Knit another 4 rows Castoff Straps Using both yarns, cast on 8 st and work for 1.5 m, knitting ea row Castoff And why not make some roses for decoration (see Karin's roses) Felt it all in the machine on 40 degrees together with a pair of jeans or a big bath towel Take out and stretch, cut the straps in half and attach them to the bag.
