With trial and error and love, I bring to you my Four Seasons Tree Mandala Coaster! I hope that you enjoy it! Project Size = Approx. 5" in diameter Crochet hook = 5.5mm Yarn = worsted cotton - I used Blue Sky Alpaca worsted cotton Abbreviation Key: SS - Slip Stitch DC - Double Crochet HDC - Half Double Crochet TC - Triple Crochet Steps: Row 1 - Chain 4, SS into first stitch to make a circle. Row 2 - Chain 3 to create the first DC, and then DC 7 more times in between the previous DC stitches around the circle. Row 3 - Chain 4 to create the first TC tree trunk, and then chain 3. TC 7 more times in between the previous DC stitches around the circle, chaining 3 between each TC. SS with new color to finish row. Row 4 - Begin the first tree top in right stitch of the TC (trunk) below it. In that space/stitch crochet the following series of stitches: SS, chain 2, HDC, DC, DC, HDC, chain 2. Then, in the next stitch (the left stitch in the tree trunk below), connect the chain with a SS. Then add another SS around the chain between the tree tops. Repeat these steps for all of the trees around the circle. Fasten off, weave in yarn ends, and enjoy! Copyright 2015
