Image 1 Om Nom is the hero of the popular game "Cut The Rope", that was developed and released by ZeptoLab and Chillingo. To create a toy with a height of 9 cm you must crochet with single yarn using a 2 mm hook. It's better to crochet the small details, like pupils, teeth and tip, with a 1.25 mm hook. The stuffing material used in this toy is polyester wadding. This pattern is for personal use only. Sharing information from this pattern is prohibited.

2 Abbreviations

Ch - chain Sl - slip stitch Sc - single crochet Dc - double crochet Tr - treble crochet HDc - half double crochet INC - increase INVDEC - invisible decrease BLO - back loops only FLO - front loops only All amigurumi toys are crocheted with tight stitches. Avoid small holes when stretching crochet fabric, if there are some tiny holes, use a smaller size hook. To avoid seams, all details are crocheted in a spiral without slip stitch and lifting loops. There is a chance that you will lose the beginning of the row; to avoid this, use a marker. It can be a colored pin or thread of contrasting color.

Image 17 Cut the yarn, leave a long end for sewing. All details are ready, and we are ready to assemble!

Assembly

Take one of the similar body parts - it will be the bottom. Put the tongue onto this part, so it can hang down a little. Fasten it with the red yarn end. You won't see this binding.

Pattern illustration

Image 18 Take the second body part. Sew the tip on top of it, in the exact center.

Pattern illustration

Image 19 Take the second body part, connect it with the first part to make them look like a ball. The side with the tongue will be the front. Insert light green yarn into the needle and pin it to one of the details' back. Sew both details with 28 stitches (14 to the right and 14 to the left), capturing the front loops of the rows where you had crocheted the back loops only (row 17 of each body parts).

Assembly

And now, it's the feet's turn. Stuff the feet with some stuffing material, put them on the bottom part of the body, and pin them in place, where they will be situated in the end. Try to arrange them symmetrically. Sew the feet one by one to the body, using the end that we left before.

Pattern illustration

When the feet are done, we can proceed with the eyes. Take an eye and a pupil. Put the pupil so that it is situated at a short distance from the edge of the eye and sew it. Repeat this with the second eye.

Pattern illustration

Image 26 When the pupils are sewn, place the eyes on the top part of the body and arrange them symmetrically. The eyes should touch each other a little. Pin them in place and sew them one by one.

Pattern illustration

10 Assembly

There are only the teeth left to sew. Now take a tooth and sew it on the top body part using the end that we left before. The second tooth must be sewn symmetrically. Same with third and fourth teeth.

When it's finished, guide fleshcolored yarn to the center. Sew a few stitches in the center, passing the needle back and forth through the candy, in order to tighten it and give it the needed shape. Then, guide the yarn from the center to the edge, it will be the cord from which the candy will hang. The candy is ready!
