Yoke winter pullover. Combination of colours is a good antidote for monochromatic winter days. Simple and casual. Measure: L Bust cir.: 95 - 105 cm Sleeve length (from beginning to armpit): 46 Final length from the center of the neckline: $58~\mathrm{cm}$ Gauge: 13 sts and 24 rows for $10~\mathrm{cm}$ Material: 400 g 7 skeines of green ( original project colour: Oscar, Deltex slo n. 1043) Original project material composition: $25\ \%$ wool, $75\ \%$ acryl Less than 1 skein of pink, white and violet (stash yarn of similar material and gauge) Needles: circular n. 6 and if you don't use magic loop dbp needles n. 6 Stitches used: knit, purl, yarn over, travelling jogless stripes (for the reference see http:/ /techknitting.blospot.com/2007/01/jogless-stripes.html)

I knitted front and back part separately. For each part cast on 70 sts. Knit $2\mathrm{k}2\mathrm{p}$ for about $5\;\mathrm{cm}$ . Continue with green yarn. Make 4k, then yarn over in a way that the yarn is in front of the needle. Knit 3, yo. Repeat k3yo till the end of the row. Change colour - pink. Purl. Leave the yarn over slip from the needle. Pass the next stitch to the right needle without knitting it. Repeat to the end of the row. In all rows, knit and purl, always pass the same stitch to the needle without knitting it. After 6 rows, on purl side, turn to green yarn and purl also the stitch, you've passed in previous rows. Make one knit, one purl, one knit, one purl row with green. In the last knit green row, make 4k, yo, k3, yo, always yarn over with the yarn in front of the needle. Change colour (white) and repeat the same procedure you've made with pink. Repeat also with violet. (Because of odd number of rows, you'll have to cut the green yarn). The result should be like this:

After 6 rows of violet and green purl rows knit simple coloured stripes of 6 rows, without “long green stitches". Between coloured stripes knit with green yarn 1k row, 1p,1k,1p,1k,1p and 1k row. (Now the number of rows is even, so you don't have to cut the green yarn) Add 1 stitch on both sides twice (on the first knit green row, now you have 74 sts. Continue with green yarn in knit sts. Knit for other 3 cm or as long as you don't have the right measure from the beginning to the armpit (in original pullover case this was $38\;\mathrm{cm})$ For the arm hole bind off 1 x 4, $^\textrm{\scriptsize1x3}$ $^\textrm{\scriptsize1x2}$ and $1\texttt{x1}$ stitch on both sides. Now you have 54 sts on your needles, waiting for the yoke. Front and back side are the same.

Sleeves

Cast on 38 sts. Make double rib for about $5\;\mathrm{{cm}}$ . In the last rib row ad 1 st between purl sts, i.e. add 8 sts, in order to obtain 46 sts. Make the striped part as described in body part, adding 1 sts on both sides of the row each 1st and last knit row of green between coloured stripes, obtaining in this way 50 sts. Knit simple knit sts until you have the right length of your sleeve. (In my case there are $44~\mathrm{cm}$ from the beginning to the armpit). Bind off $^{2\textnormal{x}3}$ sts and knit other 4 rows in order to obtain the same high of the armpit section as front and back part. Now you have 38 sts on the needle, waiting for the yoke.
